But anyway, Title Page for those listening is an Australian funded and run database of everything that is published in this country.

Not just Australian titles, any titles, but they are the covers and the prices and everything else that is seen and sold in Australia.

So then I contacted Title Page and I said, Listen, I'm launching an app and I'd like to draw and they were just, you know, so happy that somebody wanted access and to do that.

But we had a lot of tech issues and every time and him my developer's been wonderful, but every time he would push back or default back to Google.

And I'm like, No, no.

I've made the promise that this is Australian and that is my only point of difference, really, at this stage.

And if I can't deliver on that, then there's no point doing it, really.

And also we haven't talked about Australian authors much, of which you are one.

But I do and I have supported, and you know this, Australian authors for a very long time.

I've hosted dinners, I've done parties, I've had them in the office, because I think it's a job that's very isolated.

I think it's a really hard job.

And I've often wanted to bring them together and to celebrate them and I've done that, like, you know, at least a function a year.

The only time I didn't was during Covid, you know.

And there is no value in that.

Like there's no money in it or anything for me.

But the value is actually the connection, I think, with the writers.

And we have become a hub for that, like the Better Reading Office.

And now so many people are working from home.

I often wonder, do we need an office or don't we need an office?

And we've been in the same office for twelve years.
