And she told me she had a spreadsheet and she had

kept the rejections and she had over one hundred rejections until she got published.

I mean true.

I I I can barely deal with one.

So just

It was Josephine Moon with the hundred spreadsheet and you know, and now she's she's off.

But you know what else?

I'm so impressed by all of them and every one of them has such a unique story.

But there is a group of female writers that I've seen

who start writing after they've had children and their little children.

So they're juggling little children, they're juggling no sleep, they're juggling the shock of the new of raising children.

And then they they start writing.

And I'm often taken aback by that.

I think I am so lazy or unproductive compared to those women, you know.

They really work a lot.

Then they go through primary school and they work their manuscripts or writing, you know, around drop off and pick up and whatever.

And they're fabulous writers and we're lucky to have them and that's a lot of work.

I also think with writing, you're right, it's a creative pursuit.

But it's also the craft of actually putting down one hundred thousand words.

You've got to execute it.
