And do you know I didn't shut it down.

Um and for people that know me they'll know I would not have done that in a hurry.

So I spent the next couple of weeks negotiating with them to take on the assets.

And really that's what government funding should do.

If you then can make a business model out of it, that's fantastic.

So they didn't give me any money and I lost money, but with that I pulled together the assets we had, which at the time were only the Facebook page and a E D.

I think there was something like fifty thousand on the Facebook page and a maybe at twenty or fifteen thousand on

the the electronic newsletter.

And so I took those and I started a business called Better Eating.

And honestly I didn't know what I was doing.

Like 'cause it wasn't bricks and mortar.

It wasn't there was no print.

We couldn't afford to print a thing.

And so all my marketing was online and that was a real trans back in two thousand and fourteen, that was a moment, right?

And w my first couple of products I only had a book of the week.

You know, I was only promoting a book of the week every week.

And it was really small.

The publishers, uh not all of them, but a lot of them just

You know, thought, Oh, this is a great idea and we're going to support her.
