And then Roy says, Now, when I got to the park it was about six fifty two, no later than six fifty six.

I which I think is funny because he knew exactly when he got there.

I hadn't been there five minutes and this guy walked up to me.

Yeah.

Well, he ge got there, she's not in sight, and there's some some guy who's playing basketball who invited Roy to play, but Roy Roy declined because he's waiting for his date.

So Roy says

Quote, he introduced himself and he told me his name was Herman.

So seven o'clock come come and go, seven fifteen come and go, seven thirty come and go.

And I start getting that feeling I done drove all the way up here from New Orleans just to get stood up.

I mean who hasn't been there?

Well, as we see as it starts getting dark, we see Herman over there playing basketball still.

Roy's waiting for his date.

Getting sadder and sadder, starting to look a little downtrodden, a little droopy.

Roy's starting to feel a bit irritated, feeling stupid.

He says seven forty five, come and go, eight o'clock come.

I'm like, okay, she's not gonna show for whatever reason.

That's I'm getting ready to go find me something else to do.

Little does Roy know something else.
