And so we've seen in the earnings reports of hotel companies, for example, in recent weeks, I mean, they are starting to see some signs of a slowdown.
That can all lead into different appetites to hire more people.
Yeah, it's still the case where like job seekers have to think creatively about how do you get the attention of a recruiter.
So oftentimes still, I mean, it seems outdated, but it is kind of like who you know.
I mean, part of it is trying to sort of figure out.
Who was the person actually doing the hiring and trying to get on that person's radar versus just competing against some bot or algorithm somewhere that's screening out lots of resumes?
Certainly word of mouth, personal referrals, all of that can really be helpful in a job market like this where there's more competition.

So trying to bypass some of that can be really helpful.
A number of workers have realized it's getting a lot harder to do something new.
If someone was looking for a job elsewhere, that's been trickier, particularly for white-collar work.
Well, it's quite the shift from the great resignation where people were just changing jobs left and right to now when the job market has started to cool.
A number of employers are not filling open positions.
We've seen turnover rates drop.
Promotion rates are dropping internally.
