We're delivering on everything we said we would deliver on and more.

And the Democrats have nothing left to do.

But basically, they're out of ammo and they're just pulling their magazine out and they're throwing it.

And that's what the American people are seeing.

So I think the right track, wrong track will...

go in our favor if we hold the line.

And I want to give credit to the Speaker, credit, obviously, to the White House and the President for holding the line here.

And we've just got to hope that Senate Republicans hold the line.

We've got some of them getting a little weak-kneed over there who are complaining that, well, we might need to go cut a deal or something like that.

Democrats are the ones who walked away from the table.

You and I don't love CRs.

Posse doesn't love CRs.

But we came together, everybody,

Freedom Caucus, the Speaker, everybody in the conference to say, you know what, we're going to do a short-term CR to November because Democrats were rattling that they wanted a shutdown.

They own this.

It's the Schumer shutdown.

They're the ones causing it.

The president is doing what he can to make sure our troops are paid and that our country continues to move forward.

Well, I'll obviously let Russ speak to that directly, but I can tell you my conversations, like the White House, they're united on what they want to do.

The Democrats have shut this down.
