Well, I would say the man I am today, like taking, you know, full ownership and accountability was how I handled things, you know, how I went about situations.
And it was a lot of times it was from a passionate place, but it's a time and a place and a way to communicate.
And, you know, I had a lot of frustrations and I always felt like I was like fighting things from my past and
You know what I'm saying?
Like those things kept following me, so to say, and I kept holding on to them.
But just wasn't the most professional in certain settings at certain times, but it was always from a passionate place.
But then, you know, those that kind of know me, they know why and how I was feeling.
But in the world of the business of the NFL, that's not necessarily the proper way to
demonstrate those things.
But, you know, I was tired of losing.
I was tired of feeling overlooked, knowing that I am an elite receiver.
But, you know, certain things I felt was holding me back from that.
But looking back in hindsight, the better way I would have went about it is just put my head down and just keep working and do more and take more control because that energy I was maybe complaining of being frustrated.
That's more time I could have spent with God and trusting his plans and putting in the work or leaning into a good mentor and better environment.
