figure out, you know, what are symptoms to look for.
There's a lot of resources out there, whether it's charity organizations or personal blogs, where you can kind of get a good outline of what to look for and things your behaviors you might be seeing.
And then call around and find a therapist that will um there's a

Yale Brown obsessive compulsive disorder.
uh scale or um god I'm blanking on the name of the test, but uh basically that's the assessment that a therapist will do for your child to figure out if it's O C D.
And um that's kind of the steps that you have to take.
And once you get the diagnosis you want to find a therapist that will work with you.

I think for for younger children, ERP and definitely I think some younger teenagers, ERP can be something where you'd start with and there are other types of treatments that you can try, but the first state the first line of defense is getting educated about it, finding resources that can help guide you to understanding and getting a diagnosis.
