I mean, there's a million factors, obviously, that go into it.

But, I mean, yeah, it was both.

One, it was my trust within our teammates to get the job done for the last week of the season.

And then not just that, it was their trust in me to basically be able to take some time off and work out the way I need to to be ready for the postseason.

So it was just...

Me, Berrios, and Ghazi kind of held down the fort for a long time here without a lot of backup, so to speak.

Now we got Shane, and we got Trey, and we got Max here.

It's like, hey, these guys can hold the workload down until...

we really need you guys again so it's it's it's juggling a fine line so to speak where it's it's we have i mean we literally have a goal and that's to win the world series and we're trying to figure out the best way to like put herself in the best possible spot to do it

Yeah, I mean... I don't know, as a fan... We play a million games all year and...

Once you get to the dance, it don't matter about the games anymore.

It matters about the playoffs.

I understand the fan situation.

I totally agree and get that.

But we as players kind of think the same way.

We lose the first round, second round, whatever it may be, we're not going to be happy.
