So I think they're going to have a hard time with this.
The grand juries around here are just far too liberal and not actually interested in holding D.C.
accountable.
And people in D.C.
are freaking out because they don't want to be asked any questions.
They want to be able to lie.
They want to be able to perjure.
They want Steve Bannon to go to prison.
They want Donald Trump to go to prison, but not themselves.
That's undemocratic.
And that's kind of the pattern we've been seeing for these many years.
This goes way back.
This sort of fight goes way back to the founders.
You got Alexander Hamilton, who's statues in front of the treasury, fighting Thomas Jefferson over whether or not this should even be something that exists, whether the United States should be going to the debt, whether the United States should be regulating monetary policy.
And the power has only grown.
