I think he's way wrong.
This, to me, is worse than tanking.
Yeah, I don't think that was a good look for Adam.
He said, you know, there's a difference in selling calls, exaggerating calls, and flopping.
The flopping rule, though, says...
when you exaggerate physical contact.
That's the rule.
And they even use an example.
If you fall down on minimal contact, that wouldn't have naturally knocked you down.
That's a flop.
And it's supposed to be a non-sportsmanlike technical foul, which is, or non-unsportsmanlike technical foul, I think they call it.
But the other team's supposed to get a free throw.
And so it's not about setting new rules or anything for flopping.
It's about enforcing the rules that are already there.
That's all they have to do.
If I was OKC tonight, J Mac, I would go out and do what they've been doing, which is flopping.
And if the referees let it go,
then hey, you're trying to win a game, win a series, win a championship.
But if the referees will follow the rule book and call it and award the free throw to San Antonio, OKC would stop doing it and you wouldn't have these issues that you were talking about.
So it's not a good look.
