Uh, I've had assistive technology in my job title for twenty four, twenty-three years, something like that. podcast-host

But how long have I been doing AT? podcast-host

I mean, I would say my entire career, right? podcast-host

I mean, I've been working with technology to help people. podcast-host

And that's really what the definition, if you boil it down, it's what is assistive technology. podcast-host

It's it's stuff to help people get it's it's stuff for people to get things done, you know. podcast-host

Just and that can be high tech, low tech, whatever, um, anything in between. podcast-host

So it's just yeah. podcast-host

So I guess my entire career. podcast-host

So my current job is well, I'll tell you, let's go let's go speech therapist for three years, then uh the podcast-host

Um, fourth year it was half speech and half starting the assistive technology team. podcast-host

They again, great director, realized that was really two full-time jobs. podcast-host

And so the next year I became full assistive technology. podcast-host

And podcast-host

Then I've evolved from there to be the assistive technology specialist. podcast-host

So we started with a team of five and some of us were halftime. podcast-host

We are now up to a team of 10. podcast-host

20 plus years later, where I'm sort of the leader of that team, the assistive technology specialist. podcast-host
