So I in these four hours I didn't talk about those tools. podcast-host

Um the uh the the two other things that I sort of mentioned podcast-host

were the pictures, you know, and to not put as much uh onus on the pictures as you think you might. podcast-host

Uh we did of course the Pictionary experience, you know, and uh worked like a charm. podcast-host

uh where uh we I asked somebody, you know, we do this in our presentations, and I ask somebody to leave the room, everyone else draws a picture of one word, that person comes back in and they can't guess it because it's a core word. podcast-host

And they it took this person, everyone holds up their their picture in the screen and eventually they get it. podcast-host

But it's such a powerful thing because um when we take that moment to think through like how are our kids or how are podcast-host

are the people who cannot read and experiencing the pictures. podcast-host

The pictures don't mean as much as we think they do, and so podcast-host

You know, I left them thinking about the pictures and realizing, cover up the text. podcast-host

Think of it as if as if somebody is not seeing the text. podcast-host

What would you do to help l teach them what this picture means? podcast-host

And then of course the last thing was, you know, the three letter word, the big three letter F word, you know? podcast-host

This your your therapy's gonna gotta be fun or you'll get burned out and the people won't enjoy it and if uh if kids are communicating in ways where they're not using language or people are communicating in ways where they're not using language, they're using their bodies in some way to communicate, um, and that way is not um as precise as you'd like, um, or is in some way that um is um podcast-host

uh where there's th they they're feeling threatened or, you know, they're they're they're eloping or they're um pushing things away or whatever. podcast-host
