It's a race to the corner.

And when that ball goes up, you don't get the rebound.

It's a sprint to the corner.

You're not getting there fast enough.

I do sprint to the corner faster than anyone.

So just this idea of like we're just trying to blow it up just so they can understand the speed of the game.

And then sometimes high school people are limited in terms of trying to like replicate the length, the athleticism.

But, you know, you have to coach everything, right?

If they go in there during a skeleton and just shoot a lazy layup or they miss it, like you got to hold them accountable.

Because I do feel like what we allow, we're teaching.

So if we allow them to just kind of take a playoff, if we allow them to miss it,

not miss a layup, but like shoot a lazy layup or not shoot a game, like, or not play off two feet or jump in the air and throw some crazy pass that we're teaching it.

And so just, you know, you don't want to blow up practice too much because these kids have a shorter attention span, but there are some times where it's like, maybe the assistant coach grabs him and coaches that part.

Hey man, in the game, that ain't going to work.

Here's why.

So that the rest of the guys are still going up and down and you don't stop practice.

And I think that's what assistants can really, really help if it's not their drill.
