Ben Shelton, you know, won Toronto, big lefty serve, fun to watch, but he uh he's got a bad record against Alcaraz.
Tommy Paul playing pretty well, same thing.
Francis TfO's never been quite able to get across the the line.
Seems like he lacks that last little bit.
None of these guys have been able to pull it off.
And if you know, the way I see it is if Alcaraz plays the way he's been playing, we know what he can do.
I mean it's just it's his tournament, so we'll see how and those guys have gonna have to rise above.
But if he falters
They got their shot.

So it doesn't help as much as you might think.
But, no, it's because of the way the schedule plays out.
You know, Wimbledon now doesn't have that middle Sunday where they don't, the day of rest, that anachronistic beauty for a sports writer where you can sit home and sip some coffee and hang out.
And so the schedule now is more traditional, so you get the extra day for one set of semifinalists from the men.
They play on the Tuesday.
They don't play the semis until Friday.
