There's another staging area in Grand Canyon Village, and rescue operations are underway as we speak.
And folks have already said, officials have said this morning, that the rainfall that we're seeing today and probably the rest of the week is going to impact their efforts.
On Saturday afternoon, between a half inch and an inch of rain fell on parts of the Grand Canyon in about 30 minutes.
The resulting flood swept down a creek bed to the Colorado River, splintering bridges, demolishing houses, and temporarily beaching boaters.
The flood also mangled the only pipeline that delivers water from roaring springs to hotels and businesses on the South Rim.
Officials say they used helicopters to evacuate more than 60 people from the bottom of the canyon, with more evacuations to follow.

after Trump announced the cuts, mining interests filed claims in the old boundaries of Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalani National Monuments.
Autumn Gillard, a member of the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah, says mining could hurt a landscape home to thousands of cultural sites.
But others in the state say any mining would be regulated and could help reduce dependence on foreign adversaries.
The federal government may not approve the claims since Trump's proclamations only allow them after September 11th.

At a signing event with Utah Governor Spencer Cox, Trump said the reduction gives the land back to the people of Utah.
Trump tried shrinking the monuments during his first term, but former President Biden reversed the decision.
