People are, even if they're wringing their hands about how far it's come and how unusual this market is,
and how expensive valuations have gotten.
There are few at the same time want to sell now.
So it really is a catch-22.
But I think the best way for investors to protect themselves is maybe just to slowly, incrementally put a bit in at a time and be as diversified as you possibly can.
Right.
I mean, anytime there's one of these crashes, it's something that is unknown, something that tends to come out of the blue.
Right now, it's a funny situation where the biggest fears in the market are essentially shared by almost everyone in the market.
And so that's another odd situation where few see a recession soon, few see corporate earnings slowing meaningfully in the next 18 months or so.
Central bank policies around the world are, while decision makers are potentially changing things, the idea for them is to do it slowly in a way that it doesn't jolt the economy.
And so far that's been happening.
So, yeah, it is this sort of this uneasy, steady state of people are a little bit scared to sell but are a little bit reluctant to buy more.
And so what you see is very low volatility and very steady gains.
