That's a fascinating insight into the art of coaching, I guess, because I think you had a big meeting after the Giants game, but then you've got on the... What's the response when you're ringing up all your players individually?
Is that something you do often?
And is there a couple that might screen the call and go, oh, no, what's going on here?
How do you lighten them up?
You've worked with some unbelievable footballers, your time, Hawthorne especially, and then at Brisbane.
Where's Logan Morris fit in?
As a just-turned-21-year-old, he kicked seven goals four on the weekend.
He's effectively played 10-hour forward in back-to-back premierships.
Where have you got him slotted?
Yeah, 100%.
Sam Collins ends up not going to him until late in the game.
So it is a team effort, isn't it?
Hey, we've been talking about Lockie Neal this morning.
I just thought he was so good.
He was unbelievable in that game.
I mean, he set the standard early, and then I thought Logan and Darcy particularly.
So you had the back and the mid and the forwards all going where you needed to go.
And I know there's speculation.
I don't know how much you can say or you can't say, but I just said to Tim this morning, there's no world that I could live in where I'd be wanting to lose Lockie Neal from my footy side.
So I'm sure you have a similar mindset, but what are the conversations like around Lockie for you?
