In general, the couples and singles with children are about 70% of median income, which kind of compares with the 60% of median income that's the typical relative income poverty measure.
It is a bit low.
It's about 50% to 55%.
I mean, we had no idea where the budgets were going to come out.
And I think the fact that they are kind of plus or minus 10% of the poverty line does kind of validate the relative income poverty line as something that does mean something.
although it is in and of itself an arbitrary way of assessing it because there's no reason why you should take 60 or 50 or 70.
But because no way of measuring poverty gives you a very precise definition of poverty, they're all proxies for it, I think showing that it's in the right ballpark is a very useful finding.
