I got the full support of everybody.

And I probably wasn't as prepared for it because up until before Christmas, and bearing in mind I became Prime Minister just after Christmas, it wasn't even on my radar or something that I would have put my hand up to do.

I loved the job, but I was still, let's be clear, I was still kind of learning the job when the election rolled around and then we lost the election.

So I'll know, you know, if we win the next election, that's my goal.

I'll know a lot more about what to expect.

I'll be much better prepared for it than I was last time.

you know sharing those values why are you getting into politics in the first place because if you're not you know showing shyness you know kindness and compassion ultimately you just focused on self-interest and that's not what politics should be about so i think our goal you know on the left of the political spectrum is to show new zealanders that there is a way forward that involves us bringing people together what what are you guys going to do different
