You know, if the Steelers have a down year next year, they have a down year next year, that means they move up in the draft and get a quarterback at the 11th spot, like where Ben was, right?
I don't know.
You know, I think if you told the Steelers, hey, listen, Steeler Nation, Steelers are going to go 6-10 next year or 7-10 next year or 6-11 next year.
but they're going to go out and get their next franchise quarterback.
There's nothing that's guaranteed for the next 10-plus years.
I think Steeler Nation would live with that if they knew they can get a top-notch quarterback and a top-10 pick.
So you never know how that's going to work.
Sometimes it's worth taking one step back to move five steps forward.
And so it might be a necessary evil.
They may need to take one step back in terms of having a down year to be able to go out and get their guy for the future.
And then this draft, they can use their draft capital to go out and get some pieces that they need.
And, you know, there's a lot of quarterbacks out there every year.
I look at the quarterbacks right now around the NFL.
There's so many young quarterbacks right now that are just doing so well, that are thriving now.
and these are guys that I never really thought that coming out, you know.
I mean, Drake May was a talent, but who thought Drake May would be who Drake May is now coming out of North Carolina?
I don't know if very many people had Drake May being the guy he is now.
Yeah, but, yeah, they were right.
But, you know, what I'm saying is I just think that there are guys out there
that could play at a high level, and they'll be there every year.
