Um the uh I think we all know the the problem with uh Dominic Solanke is it's not is not the ability that that he's got.

It's it's playing games on on a regular basis and he missed so much of of last season.

For me personally, if he was somebody that you could rely on being physically fit, he is somebody that would score goals.

You know, b if from the games that I've seen

So far this preseason, there's been uh um certainly uh a lot of efforts that have gone in from the flanks.

Roberts i I think in the last game, the weekend game, I think all three goals were

were designed from from wide areas and crosses from wide areas.

uh Richardson getting on the end of one of them.

And I think if that's a way of playing, we tonight spoke about a way of playing, breaking through midfield, fast through midfield, but the efforts were from wide areas and um we need to be more prolific in them areas.

And I think it's just a question of having somebody that's durable enough.

And if if uh if that happens to be the case with Solan

Yankee, then I think is a really good option.

Really good option.

But I also think that

there doesn't need to be such a reliant on a number nine.

If you've you know, if you've got a Javi Simmons fit, a Madison fit, uh a Kudas fit, uh Oderbert who who broke into the side um last season and and I thought started really well,

in that wide area.

And I think if you've got them them options um around your nine, then I think there's there's not the pressure and and the obvious uh need to to have that that number nine that's as prolific as what you'd want him to be.

Yeah, I I I think it would be a worry, d depending if if if you said to me, Well

my two number nines are going to be a a fit Solanke and a fit Richardlesson, with the you know, the options around that I said a cuddle in in the wide area at a Madison, then I think there's some really good uh offensive uh options then.
