We can do without every single match being extended to nearly 100 minutes due to TMO interference.

Just let the referees referee.

There's some good referees out there who can make decisions.

They don't have to refer all the time to upstairs.

They're just scared.

That if there is one mistake they made, and who can say they've been to a rugby match and seen a referee not make a mistake?
