Yeah, it's exciting.
It's a good atmosphere for everyone here, especially for our players.
There's some banter back and forth with the fans, and
Um, yeah, it's just exciting.
Obviously we like it to be all pro Oilers, but we understand that there are fans out there that don't cheer for the Oilers and, you know, for this to happen once in a while, it's a good environment.
Absolutely, and they've got some pretty dynamic players.
I think we've been just average.
I think the expectations are a lot higher in the room and we want to be better.
And I think the area that we need to get better is playing better defensive hockey.
I think we're going to score enough to win most games.
I think with Connor and Leon leading the way and other guys chipping in, I don't think offense generation is an issue.
I think there'll be games where, yeah, we're not getting enough, but overall...
That's been the strong point.
Our expected goals is second in the NHL, next to Colorado, and first since December 1st.
But defensive hockey is where it needs to get better, and that's a lot of areas, whether that's on our penalty kill, but five-on-five, forwards, defensemen, that's definitely the emphasis going into playoffs there.
you know to get in that position we need to play better because it's it's not been good enough and what we did in the past couple years has to change um you know we're doing the same systems but it's just not working as well for this team so during that olympic break we have to make some adjustments we'll make some adjustments but um details have to get better
It's spectacular what he's doing right now with the penalty kill responsibilities five on five shut down all that he's been spectacular and you know he is our number one defenseman and I believe he's one of the best in the NHL and you look at this stretch of two or maybe three months he's been phenomenal.
Well, first of all, that Minnesota game was a wide open game.
It looked like a game from the 80s with the expected goals.
It was as high event game as I think I've ever been a part of in the NHL.
