And, of course, this has gone to shit now in the last couple weeks.
But, like, there was a point this season where I thought Dallas was really dangerous.
And there was a point โ and I still believe it โ that Cincinnati, if you told them, hey, tomorrow, like, hey, you're in the playoffs, like, everybody would be like, fuck, Cincinnati's in the playoffs?
You know, like, should there be an at-large bid โ
in the nfl playoffs and how would you how would you how would you because think about like think about this bill belichick used to say this and i'm pretty sure he still says it name drop you know but he used to say this it just happens to be my coach and my co-worker and inside the nfl so but dave it's like not who you play it's when you play them
Sure.
And I think that's like... And if the hoodie agrees, then most people should probably agree.
And I think we all know it to be true.
We all know that at the end of the season, some people slide in and you're like, they're not that good anymore.
Like, they're not playing well in December.
Not to say they shouldn't be in the playoffs, but how about the teams that because of an injury or circumstance in the beginning of the season were dog shit, but then down the stretch, they're dangerous.
Are we being too...
It'd be incredible.
It would be incredible.
That's so good.
And it makes it harder in a way on the number one team because it feels like a little like, hey, we just called our shot.
Oh, shit.
And it's the gravity of like, if you're the coach, that becomes a decision, like an in-game decision or, you know, like a roster decision.
Like this is a very meaningful decision.
If you don't, if you pick a team and lose it, it's even worse because you picked it.
