I was gonna say walking, but maybe you'd be going like the Clappers, I don't know. matched

Yeah, three and a half hours of questions, about a hundred and twenty questions, something uh something like that. matched

It was a kind of crunching together, as we were saying on the last episode, a sort of crunching together of parliamentary scrutiny that would have happened in dribs and drabs had it not been for the fact that he became Prime Minister just as Parliament uh broke up for its summer break. matched

And so there was that sort of marathon session, ask him anything kind of stuff that went on. matched

It was basically Yeah, yeah. matched

It was an elongated matched

Prime Minister's questions, effectively. matched

And then the if you like, the real thing came on Wednesday lunchtime as uh usual with sort of more questions. matched

And and you know, the beginnings of getting a sense of what the politics, you know, the soundtrack of Westminster politics is gonna is gonna sound like for the next little while with a new Prime Minister and then Kebby Madenock, and of course, you know, there's there's Ed Davin, there's Nigel Farage and plenty of others into the mix as as as well. matched

And we're just, I guess, beginning to get a sense of that. matched

I and look, I I don't think we should be that surprised by this in that, you know, the the tram tracks, if you like, of how any politician, any prime minister approaches the countdowns the various sort of um station stops of the political year. matched

It involves a bit of uh ducking and diving in terms of answering questions because the you know, the whole budget process is pretty complicated and there's all sorts of numbers. matched

Numbers disappearing into spreadsheets and all the rest of it, and then the various trade-offs. matched

And if you change your mind on X, you're gonna have to change your mind on Y, etc. matched

Um, I think the nature of parliamentary commons exchanges is that you know there is point scoring. matched

Now, you know, Andy Burnham's expressed this desire to sort of dial that down. matched
