Howdy.
Bonjour.
I can't remember which conference it was, but you, at the Follies, you read a poem.
And I would love to have a copy of that poem.
Fantastic.
Thank you, because it's a beautiful poem.
Well, again, just what you were saying about how it doesn't have to be psychotherapy because a lot of people don't have access to it or can't afford it or...
aren't inclined to do that, but to be looking for all these other sources of inspiration and some expansiveness and to get out of your head and just take a walk in nature can be enough to sometimes get a person unstuck or feel more invigorated or inspired.
And so the question today that we've been asking people is, since the podcast is all about conversations that we have with all these great people, what are the conversations that we should be having more of or we're avoiding or not just within our psychology community, but the world in general?
What do we need to be talking more about?
Yes.
And goodbye from Lyon, France.
Au revoir.
Luminaries.
And I'm Chris McCurry, and today we are most pleased to welcome Dr.
Jodie Richardson to Life's Beared Little Secrets.
Jodi is an anxiety and well being speaker, educator, best selling author, and host of the podcast Well Hello Anxiety.
Emma and I have had the privilege of being guests on your Fabs Podcasts.
Jody's central message is that anxiety is a normal, even adaptive part of being human.
And the goal isn't necessarily to eliminate anxiety, but to change our relationship with it so that we can get on with a meaningful life while anxious thoughts and feelings come along for the ride.
