So how do we how do we work that in terms of helping p parents and their kids understand that the anxiety is is it is a fact of life and and you are going to be anxious under certain circumstances.
Yeah.
How d how do we how do we cope with that and keep moving forward?
Well, I think for the most part.
The children were expressing things like I'm scared, I'm worried, whatever it may be and those were obvious clues as to what was going on.
Sometimes parents would attribute a child's behavior particularly like
mm, aggressive behavior is something to him while he's anxious.
Which may or may not be the real reason, but it's a starting point.
We can work with that.
But I th I think I think parrots have become more sophisticated.
And knowledgeable and there's a bazillion books out there about these things that parents are reading.
So I think they have the vocabulary.
I think they have a starting point.
But I I think the the the the hang up is often you need to help my child not be anxious anymore.
And as opposed to your child needs to go to school whether they're anxious or not.
And uh
But that's a hard sell for the parent and the child and a lot of a lot of parents would say, I was anxious as a child.
I there's no way I'm gonna force my child to do X, Y, or Z because I know how that feels and
And I would have to say I'm not I'm not advocating forcing child to do anything, but we can come up with some baby steps or whatever it may be.
So anyway, I'm rambling here, but the point being that how do how do we get from the internal experience, the the worries in our minds, our child's mind, to helping them cope with life.
