So every comic now sort of does the same circuit, which is like Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Perth, Sydney.

And then the New Zealand Comedy Festival happens, which I was a little bit later.

I'm like, I'm September.

I don't know why I wasn't on it this year, but I do support the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

No.

It's just because I toured, like it had been under a year since LAPS, you know, and I was like, I can't, it can't be like eight months between shows.

Like, let's give it a bit of time.

I think most comedians do it, yeah.

I do think of it a little bit like a candle.

You know, that doesn't burn wide enough.

And when it goes down, it sort of snuffs itself out because there's not enough oxygen getting in.

You do have to grow the candle wider.

So that does include Australia because we just don't have the… Economy of scale.

And we are obsessed with it.

New Zealanders love to be like, and we're a tough audience, aren't we?

And we take a sort of weird sycophantic pride in it.

It's horrible.

And I'm like, get off.

I actually find Kiwi audiences to be totally the same as anywhere else.

I will say the sort of general consensus around comedians around the world is that New Zealand is one of the hardest places to do comedy.
