They had a nice little comeback, and then this homestand has not been their friend.

I just think, A, I think they're poorly constructed.
They...
Frankly, they're not that talented.
They're not the high-flying Maple Leafs of two, three, four years ago.
They're now a meat and potatoes.
They've got to do everything right to win hockey games.
And I don't think a few of those players want to play that way.
They like the old style.
And where they could run and gun and maybe win a game 6-5.
But...
in their current iteration, if they don't have things go their way, if they don't play well defensively, if their goalies don't make key saves at the right times, they struggle.
In my opinion, I would take it to the studs.
In my opinion.
If you're going to rebuild, I mean, with everything that has gone on there, let's take the whole landscape and everything that's gone on, let's just use the last calendar year.
The whole Marner thing, the Nylander thing, all of everything that's kind of gone on, and then what they've put into place after Marner.
They've got some good pieces.
I'm not saying they don't have some good pieces, but they're missing a lot.
