And knowing Chief, he's not a quitter.

If anything, he's a battler based on his hockey career and now his coaching career.

And I don't foresee him putting in anything but his best foot forward each and every time they step on the ice and how he coaches the team.

Yeah, well, I don't think they're going to hire somebody within the next two weeks.

I wouldn't imagine if they're going to go through the process of interviewing people unless they've already established who they want and they're trying to go get them.

You know, that that's going to still take time.

And that person then needs to come in and evaluate the front office, the team, you know, all the rest of that to see what what it looks like moving forward, depending upon what ownership says and what Keith Pelley wants, you know, what their vision is with respect to people that still have contracts.

You know, there are a lot of people in these situations lose jobs.

They either get fired or they don't have their contracts renewed.

And that's the part that's that's tough in these moments.

But as you look at this, if they go through this process, let's say of hiring a president, let's say it takes two weeks.

There's the end of the season.

You know, maybe it takes a month, two weeks to a month.

And then after that, you've got to find a GM.

If it's not somebody internally, then now you're going another two weeks to probably a month, depending upon how exhaustive that search is and how many people you interview and how quickly you're able to narrow the search.

And maybe you have two or three guys that you already think might be a good fit.

You can get through it fairly quickly, but this is a very important hire for this organization.

I don't think they should rush it.

They need to be deliberate and make sure that they're checking all the boxes to make sure that it's the right one, because how they manage this moving forward is going to affect the next three to five years.
