It's been a lot of pathway cricket.
So they probably haven't had to kind of understand the tactics that much.
And in Oli, it's quite extreme with his IQ.
I mean, his dad played for Victoria.
as a young player as well.
But obviously that IQ has been passed down.
And so he brings something altogether different to the table.
And you only have to look at a couple of examples where after six failures in chasing scores between 200 and 300 for Victoria โ
You know, we were six for 138 chasing 240 and he got 70 on a spinning wicket and got it done.
And it was incredible how he problem solved his way through and that 60 hit at the WACA to get the renegades home.
It's those kind of moments he seems to be able to step up to that the game itself kind of was pretty tough for him at different stages.
You know, these pitches are hard to bat on, but he's, you know, he's showing that he has that kind of nows to problem solve and figure out where he needs to get to.
And if you talk to him,
It is different to talking to other 18, 19-year-old kids.
So I've messaged Andrew McDonald.
I think that this is a good opportunity to see where he's at.
And you never know if someone can swim until you throw them in the deep end.
And we'll see if he sinks or he swims.
But there will be a lot of support there for him either way.
