Horrific.
The Tigers, once again, until like the last three to four weeks, it's been dreadful for them.
I mean, these are teams that were expected to compete, maybe not necessarily Baltimore, although they thought they were going to have a bounce back year.
But these were teams that were expected to compete for the American League pennant.
And it's just been atrocious for a lot of these squads.
And I heard you guys talking before I came on about, well, is one week going to make a difference?
It's not.
I think that you just kind of go into this year saying, okay, it's been a terrible first 90, 95 games, whatever it's been, but because nobody else has really pulled away.
Why don't we go for it?
I mean, the Blue Jays have such a formidable top of their rotation that nobody's going to want to play them if they get to October.
And really, the question is, can they figure out kind of the rest of the lineup, maybe add a bullpen arm or two like everybody's going to want to do?
But there's no way that they're going to be sellers, in my opinion.
Yeah, I mean, we could.
I mean, I think the key thing is which GMs actually have the cojones to say, you know what, we're probably not going to win it this year.
But because it's such a good seller's market, we could help ourselves immensely next year.
I look a little bit at the Cardinals as a team that kind of surprised us this year.
And...
As good as they have been for much of the season, the last couple weeks, they've kind of slid a bit.
