This happened.

The dreams that we deliver, whether it's Arlo, that we're building a skateboard park for, or a beautiful Harper who's here who's going to Disney World, the dreams cost about $10,000.

They're not going down in price.

So we're just trying to raise as much money as we can because this year we're attempting to do 40 dreams in our 40th anniversary of the organization that was formerly the Rainbow Society and that has a really long and treasured history in all of Alberta.

Yeah, thank you.

I mean, it started years ago when I was working on Kissin', of course, and with 630 Chet, and we would do the Solary Children's Hospital Radiothon, and it was, as I always said, it was like the worst two days of my life and the best two days of my life, going to that hospital and seeing those children and watching them and their parents and the struggles that they had and the perseverance that they had.

and when i left the radio i just it was really a giant hole in my heart just that part and the charity and making a difference i just felt like i just i needed something so you know thank goodness for therapy and also finding out um that this opportunity would present itself and and we've had the opportunity i mean i've gotten to to go and

and knock on these families' doors and tell them that, you know, the dream of their child that's been through so much is going to be coming true.

And it just, it's so incredibly rewarding.

And it just, it just, the organization I love, and I love all the charities.

Of course, I love the Stollery and I always will.

But I love this organization in the fact that we never say we're small, but we're scrappy.

There's a very, there are very few of us,

That they didn't put this giant event together.

There's like five in our organization.

And we still managed to deliver these dreams.

Again, Alberta Dreams, also known as the Rainbow Society, has done over 5 million dreams to almost 1,300 people.

So I really like the fact that we can make a difference and it doesn't cost that much in the big picture, but you can make a huge difference in a family's life.

And we'd love for people to help us, you know, again, raise as much as we possibly can because it's needed.
