So I think that would be even more difficult in a way for his coaching contemporaries versus someone who's young and a breath of fresh air and really has a world of potential in front of him and no drawbacks in terms of a head coaching record, if that makes sense.

According to Tom Pelissero, Mike McCarthy is a serious candidate, but I also can't overlook...

the fact that he overlapped with Omar Khan and Andy Weidel on the Saints staff in the early 2000s.

So I think that there's some personal connection there that might have him in the mix, but I don't necessarily say that he's the leader in the clubhouse or anything like that.
