I still think he has that fire in him.

So if I was mildly surprised that he stepped down when he did, then it stands to reason that I would think he'll get back into it.

But I don't think it's this year.

I believe all the reporting on that and certainly Art Rooney II himself putting that out there last week.

My prediction, and I said this on

a PG show with Noah Hiles, the constrictor, right after the news of him stepping down last week, which aside, Joe, I can tell you with certainty, you and I have done our last Mike Tomlin post news conference radio show.

We didn't even know it.

Oh, but to finish my thought, my prediction was Tomlin coaches the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2027.

How about McDermott?

That's where he got his NFL start.

I don't know what to make of McDermott either because he's getting such a late start on this market and vice versa, teams with him.

Like, I was looking at the Titans.

They supposedly narrowed it down to three finalists.

Jeff Halfley, who it seemed like as soon as he found out he was a finalist in Nashville, he decided to go to Miami.
