Uh says, When I was younger, I lived at home and worked at McDonald's in Dublin.

One morning I was walking to work when I bumped into two mates who had a spare ticket for Liverpool against SK Bran.

So naturally, I rang in tick from a phone box, because this was 1997, of course.

Blabbed my way onto the ferry and headed to Liverpool with no money, no hotel, and no plan.

We watched Liverpool win three nil at Anfill before finding five pound beds in a YMCA hall with about fifty SK brand fans.

The next morning I headed home.

By the time I arrived back in Dublin, I've been gone for sixty hours.

And because both my parents are deaf, I had no way of contacting them.

Wow.

I walked through the door expecting an almighty bollocking.

Instead they just asked, How was work?

I'd spent two days in another country and they hadn't even realised I'd gone.

But I was gonna pass up a free ticket.
