But I think when we talk about the big companies, we're talking about WCW, WWE, TNA, AEW, NWA.
I think that's what we're talking about here.
I think that Mr. Perfect not being a world champion does not make sense.
But it's great though that he could have...
insane matches with someone like hulk hogan someone like bret hart ultimate warrior but at the same time also have great matches with rookies and make them look like a million bucks like that is i think the epitome of being a great mid carter is the ability to work with anybody
Shelton Benjamin, my number three on this Mount Rushmore, a guy so athletic, has the ability to put on great matches wherever it is on the card, whether it's the opening match, whether it's the main event, whether it's with a Hall of Famer like Shawn Michaels, you name it.
And I think he also has the ability to be great in a tag team, be great in a faction, also be great on his own.
Love Shelton Benjamin.
Love that he's still doing it at the highest level now.
Still looks like he's in tremendous shape, like the same shape, like the guy has not aged.
And he still wrestles the same way.
Like he hasn't lost a step at all.
Would have loved to see Shelton Benjamin in that main event spot.
Would have loved to see him contending for the title more often than he was.
But my goodness.
When you talk about mid-card, the word that's always attached is underrated or underappreciated.
And I think that that's something you definitely think about with Shelton Benjamin.
I know there's a lot of other people that you think about like underrated, underappreciated, like Dolph Ziggler.
But hey, Dolph Ziggler won his fair share of world titles.
The Miz, same thing.
