Zack Ryder winning the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 32.
And again, crazy to think that that was the last time that the Intercontinental Championship was in a ladder match.
But like,
when you think about Zack Ryder, who was just like put into this match at the last second, like he wasn't, he wasn't even supposed to be in this match.
He was replacing, uh,
He was replacing Neville, who had an injury and couldn't be in the match, sprained his ankle.
So Ryder's kind of like an afterthought here.
Zack Ryder's just put in his match of like, oh, he's just going to fill this spot that Neville can't fill.
So him winning that was a shock, an upset, whatever you want to call it.
Also, on top of that, Zack Ryder hadn't even been in singles contention for like four years after he had this...
push that just ended when he got pushed off the ramp by Kane in the wheelchair.
So him winning there was just a huge, huge shocker.
I'll give you an interesting pick here, a deep cut, if you will.
We were just talking about him.
Owen Hart beating Bret Hart at WrestleMania 10, really unexpected and showed that Owen could step out of Bret's shadow.
And before Bret could get the WWE Championship opportunity that was owed to him because of his victory in the 1994 Royal Rumble, he had to kick off WrestleMania X with this grudge match against his brother, Owen Hart.
And I think that people just expected Bret Hart to just go into Madison Square Garden absolutely just like,
roll through Owen Hart.
And there was a big story that was told into this.
Like there was the betrayal here and like Bret Hart had his knee injured and his heart broken.
