Let's dive into this with this one from Baker, who sent this in on chrisfamily.com and says, I'm a real, real one from Easley, South Carolina.
Is it just me?
Or did Pat McAfee's ranting promo combined with the beatdown of Cody have a real early NWO slash outsiders feel to it?
Maybe it was that McAfee referenced the Attitude Era during his rant, but there was something about the tone and even the way that they walked away from the ring that just felt to me like early NWO.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this, Baker.
I think when we look at this promo from Pat McAfee last Friday on SmackDown, it feels to me that it's right message, wrong messenger.
That promo is fantastic.
And he's echoing a lot of the complaints that fans have been saying online for years.
Ticket prices, guys that don't look like wrestlers, long, flippy, floppy matches with no buildup.
The fact that the attitude is gone.
All of this.
This is what people have been talking about online for so long.
