And that was in December of 2024, the outgoing White House chief, Jeff Zients, invited Susie as a guest of honor to his house for dinner and invited the ex-White House chiefs to come and join him.
This is a tradition that goes back to Josh Bolton, who did it for Rahm Emanuel.

Some Democrats presumably weren't crazy about helping a Trump regime.
