I think Belgium are going to get their clocks cleaned by Spain.
Like, there are levels, and the levels are so big, the chasm between the levels are so big, that we're probably heading...
You know, unless there are some upsets here for a semi-final of Argentina against England and France against Spain.
And you probably could have predicted that before the tournament started.
Those, as a matter of fact, were the top four seeds coming into the tournament.
They were the ones that were seeded in separate parts of the draw.
Closing that gap is so hard, and the U.S.
is so far away from that.
So, yeah, I mean, at some point, you're going to have to beat one of these teams via some means that is not, we're going to line up and try and beat you at your game.
But I still think that towards the goal of trying to win it someday, I don't mind, for aspirational reasons, trying to say this will be our style of play.
It also, just because of the nature of how European games are scheduled,
They have the Nations League.
They have qualifying for both the Euros and the World Cup.
There is not a lot of room to play European teams in the calendar.
So for the most part, you are playing teams that you're better than.
And so it's hard to say, let's set up and play defensive against Curaçao or Trinidad and Tobago or Honduras or even Mexico.
Go beat Mexico at your game.
So it's hard to gain that experience.
It's why Copa Americas are valuable and why 2024 was such a wasted opportunity.
