So that's how I'm going about things.
I think, I don't think, like, I thought Rory summed it up brilliantly the other night where he said, if you want to play on the most competitive or the best players in the world, PGA Tour.
But the standard, I mean, look at the guy who won on Sunday.
Like, the scoring.
Like, the standard's unbelievable on both tours.
I think, for me, it's like one step at a time progress.
Yeah, yeah.
I can't.
you know i've had experiences in america obviously sort of a few years ago now but yeah i would say i would need to keep to continue i suppose on this path of progress to even start to consider that sort of thing like the the dp world tour is very much what's in my sights at the moment and i was thinking about you just a fortnight ago because i was up at birkdale and people obviously remember justin rose bursting on the scene as an amateur at the 98 open there and
I massively regret my hair and the trousers I was wearing that week.
But, yeah, my dad caddied.
Yeah, I remember the last round, actually, I was playing with Poulter and never met the guy before.
And my dad was caddying and I finished fifth, but I missed out on qualifying for the Masters.
I think top four in the Open gets you in the Masters the following year.
Missed out by a shot.
And we were on the 11th tee and neither...
I could blame myself, but a golfer always blames the caddy, don't they?
The tee had gone up 50 yards.
Yeah.
The tee had been moved up 50 yards and we hit the wrong club and I made bogey and sort of try and never let him forget that one really.
