And it was just really booming.

We were like, you know, Skate Master Tate was a big part of that.
We were all hanging out, rate tons of money.
The trade shows were on fire.
We were killing it.
I mean, they really did bring a whole fashion with skateboarding.
The whole style came in.
And we dominated.
But Skate Master Tate was a big part of that.
But he was also in the full club scenes.
You know what I mean?
In Hollywood, live music, he understood all the venues, you know, Raji's, all those places that we'd all go to go and watch live music.
Thelonious Monk, all those bands that were just super underground.
And he had his finger on the pulse of that because he was just so, you know, just a real nerd about it.
He was like straight, this is what I love to do.
