But bottom line, this is really impressive with not only what they can do with the drone, but what they can shrink onto a tiny drone computer and camera, because they can't carry very much.

It's actually a great question.
There were no other drones on them.
They're not racing in and out with other drones.
You don't have to worry about colliding with it.

Some of those videos, man, in autonomy.
Those can be pretty scary.
There's nothing else on the course there.
That's a next level thing maybe they want to do.
What this really shows is that you can get a
big enough neural network with enough data, and it turns out a reasonable amount of data, to do all kinds of stuff.
We see this in legged robotics all the time.
The neural network approaches can do really awesome stuff.
And the question is, how reliable is it going to be?
Thankfully, it's a race, so you don't have to count your best time.
