Um, I think for me, I think something that I feel like I've struggled with a little bit is cause I think the thing with friendships, it's like, yes, quantity time, quality time, having a commonality of like, yes, I'm friends with people that are, that are parents.
I think, you know, like for, for me and fatherhood, like being close with other guys that are walking through similar seasons and
And having kids.
But I think sometimes you, at least I feel like I've fallen victim to this, is like you can neglect sometimes the friendships that people can't relate to the situation that you're in.
To where it's like, my friend doesn't have kids.
And it's like, I need someone now in this season where someone can relate to what I'm going through.
And I think that's beneficial.
But I also think that life is just life.
And I think there are conversations that I can have with people.
Some of my guy friends that are still single, they don't have kids, I can still be super close with them.
So I think sometimes you can convince yourself that those friendships maybe are less important now.
And you need someone that can maybe relate more to the season that you're in.
Like, yes, that can be true, but also those friends are still friends.
All friends are beneficial.
And just because I'm probably closer with people, you know, like John Luke and like my other friends that are, we have kids, our lives are crazy.
Like I can relate more to that, but that doesn't mean that I can't also be friends with people that are in just a completely different life circumstance.
And I feel like in my life I've, I don't want to say neglected that, but I've looked to
I don't want to say look down upon that, but I've looked differently at that.
I've been like, well, that's probably not going to be as helpful for me right now because they can't relate to what I'm going through.
And I think that can be true, but I also don't think that that makes that friendship any less important.
