I'm gonna go over here and instead of watching TV, instead of playing video games, I'm gonna go and play this game with my friend.
And by the way, the game they play there, sometimes it'll be soccer, sometimes it'll be a variation of soccer that they make up and it's fun.
Yeah.
So I think that's
That's fair.
Um, I'm gonna say I'm gonna I'm gonna talk now about the professional game.
Um, and we'll get to to a lot of different ideas here.
But uh some stats here, because you know, right now people talk about hey, uh there's a lot of statements of pay to play is bad, pay to play is the problem, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
The bottom line is somebody is paying.
At least I think the dialogue has become a little more nuanced than that, that you need facilities, you need a coach who's getting paid, you need referees getting paid, all that sort of stuff.
The question is how
How do you provide better environments and lower cost environments and especially as kids rise up?
Okay.
Typically across the world that is done that is funded by the professional clubs.
So the professional clubs across the world, and it's different in every country for sure, but generally they are not they are not charging the players.
They are paying for the development of the players because there's an economic incentive at the end.
There's also incentives that I think are ignored here of uh if you do a really good job in developing players, not only is there in theory some economic incentives to selling them, but you also have club incentives of moving up.
in levels of competition, which is also often ignored in this discussion.
That's a big incentive.
Um, but if we take pro clubs as largely the people who are subsidizing the development of the top, top talents, wherever you start wherever you say you should start to select them.
