And the reason for that is he was charged with murder, then they change it to manslaughter, then they've changed it again and laid this new charge.
And what the defence is saying is everyone has known the alleged conduct of
that Gagnev supposedly engaged in.
The police have known this for a long time.
He was never charged with it until very recently.
And that's what the defence is saying.
It's very unfair for you to chop and change this case when you could have laid these charges at the beginning.
