The only reason I got this one is because nobody else really wanted him.

It really is crazy.

Two years in a row, there was really no market outside of the Yankees for Cody Bellinger.

So I know people saw that, and some people said, dude, you got to do it right now.

Yeah, okay.

I mean, the Yankees pulled that trade off.

It was Schlittler, Lombard, and Rice for school bowl.

Am I coming on here screaming about it?

No, I don't think so.

I just don't think it's wise for those reasons.

Yeah, selling out to win in 2026 means selling my farm.

It doesn't mean plucking guys off of my major league roster that I expect to be big contributors in 2026.

But it's pretty much a dead issue.
