We thought our American counterparts were doing the same.
And at the last minute, as you say, they came back with what looked very much like Trump all or nothing, infringements on their sovereignty.
In other words, if you do a deal with people we don't like, then we will have a say in it.
I mean it it's it's really something that no country could tolerate.
And he said that.

The thing that I remember is interviewing um Angela Merkel, who obviously dealt with Trump when she was Chancellor of Germany during 1.0.
And she told me, uh, after having written her book, her memoir, that Trump reacts emotionally.
She said, I got the impression that he reacts to everything very emotionally.
